All True Men: The History of Theta Xi Fraternity tells the story that began with eight young men, engineering students at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, who formed the bonds of brotherhood in Theta Xi in 1864, the only fraternity organized during the Civil War. As the organization they formed now prepares to celebrate its 150th anniversary, Theta Xi’s story has been reconstructed through photos, documents, and publications that have been meticulously preserved over the years. It is a tribute to the men who have, over the years, shared the bonds of brotherhood and become leaders within their chapters, their universities, and their communities, evidence of Theta Xi Fraternity’s public motto, Juncti Juvant—United They Serve.
