Donning
The Donning Company Publishers is
a specialty book publisher of limited- edition commemorative volumes, pictorial histories, and contemporary portraits. Donning limited-edition books are custom-tailored to celebrate and preserve your heritage. Donning began in the mid-1970s when the company’s founders published a pictorial history of their hometown. The volume was an immediate success.

In the following years, Donning would bring the award-winning “Portraits of America” series to cities, counties, states, and regions from Alaska to Florida,
Maine to Hawaii. Using our innovative marketing techniques, we expanded our original “Portraits” concept to include historical and contemporary volumes on colleges and universities, businesses and associations, golf and country clubs, and multicultural heritage.
Today, the Donning is a wholly owned subsidiary of Walsworth with state-of- the-art printing and binding facilities. Throughout our history, Donning has been the honored recipient of many local and national awards for historic preservation and excellence in graphic design.
