Emily hopes that this book will inspire those of you who want to stay in the fight against a cancer diagnoses, even if it is against all odds. There is always a chance that a cure will be found at any given second. As we know, each one who has had to fight this devastating disease, no two cases are alike.
Dustin firmly believed in education; it is the basis for living. When he was diagnosed with cancer, it only enhanced his thirst for knowledge of the hu- man body’s abilities. All of the freedom that he has enjoyed the past six years while he was in remission - has been ripped away. This life he has now is not by choice; if he desires life, this is the protocol that he has to endure, and it comes with no guarantees. After receiving the diagnoses of Relapse Medullo- blastoma Metastasis (a form of brain cancer), Dustin made the following quote.
